Viability Studies
Considering the characteristics of the wastewater and the final destination of the effluent, we propose feasible solutions in order to fit the most stringent legislation. Viability studies also estimate the expected generation of electricity through biogas recovery and utilization, as well as compensation via “Green Bonuses”. In this way, our clients can predict the timescale for recovering the initial investment of a project.

Designs
The wastewater treatment systems designed and applied by BiosAqua® are currently in operation in a wide variety of industrial sectors. Our designs include biological systems (aerobic and anaerobic), and physicochemical processes, which obtain a treated water with the quality required for irrigation. BiosAqua® also considers, through its wastewater treatment systems, water reuse for industrial sectors demanding a large amount of water in their manufacturing processes, such as paper mills and textile factories.
BiosAqua® provides the basic engineering for the design and construction of the following wastewater treatment systems:

Anaerobic Reactors
Especially designed for (agro)industrial effluents containing a large amount of organic matter. Anaerobic bioreactors include biogas collectors, which allow the use of this natural energy source for industrial boilers or for electricity generation.

Aerobic Reactors
Designated for the treatment of wastewaters generated from commercial malls, residential areas and hotels, as well as a post-treatment of anaerobic bioreactors. The quality of the treated water obtained allows its unrestricted reutilization for green areas.

Combined Treatment Systems
For wastewaters containing recalcitrant and toxic contaminants, or a large content of oil and grease, BiosAqua® offers a number of sophisticated treatment systems, which has successfully been applied for industrial sector such as chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, laundries, and textile.
